How did they do it? Like all other criminals/?tax evaders they first move their money into swiss banks so it can't traced, they then slowly moved that money to buy properties in the US.
This group has a distinct advantage over the other criminals/?dictators/?tax evaders though, if the Chinese government comes after them they can simply claim they are being persecuted by the Chinese government for their "political views". Countless organizati?ons would then help to keep them (and their money) safe.
